Starting out in a small glass office in the corner of College & County’s lettings department, Darren Hunt launched a new estate agency to handle property sales. It was December 2019, and he began with no properties to sell and no buyers to sell to. Yet through grit, determination, and a little luck, homeowners soon chose College & County Sales to market their homes. Always keen to challenge the stereotypical image of estate agents, Darren made ethics the clear mission from the start.

Hi, I’m Darren, founder of Hunt Residential. I jumped into the property world as a trainee during the wild ride of the late 80s and, nearly 40 years later, I’ve seen it all - the good, the bad, and the downright bizarre!

When I’m not helping people move, you’ll find me hanging out with my family, rambling with Archie (our mischievous Cockalier), or trying to keep up with the kids!

Favourite part of the job: Guiding people through the twists and turns of selling their home - and seeing those big smiles at the end!
