Alongside other neighbourhood houses along Riverside, number 13 suffered minor flood damage in 2015 due to drain surcharge following a torrential heavy overnight storm (this was not a river flood). This has since been alleviated by incorporating NRV (non return valves) into the system for each house.

Rising damp treatment was undertaken to the ground floor wall west and front around 2010. Subsequent remedial work was undertaken around 2015/2016 which introduced an internal vapour barrier and drywall to the west facing wall which has alleviated the damp issues.
