Flood Risk
Surface Water
Very Low
Unlike flooding from rivers, surface water flooding can happen many miles from a river, often in places that people wouldn’t expect because it’s a long way from a river or stream – it happens simply because there is nowhere else for the rainwater to go. Risk ratings are measured as:
High Risk - an area which has a chance of flooding of greater than 1 in 30 (3.3%) in any one year.
Medium Risk - an area which has a chance of flooding of greater than 1 in 100 (1.0%) in any one year.
Low Risk - an area which has a chance of flooding of greater than 1 in 1000 (0.1%) in any one year.
Very Low Risk - an area in which the risk is below 1 in 1000 (0.1%) in any one year

About Brockenhurst
We opened for business in Andover on September 4th 1999. A year later, our second office was opening and we had won the national award for the ‘Best Newcomer’ at Europe’s largest Estate Agency conference. We were appointed as the exclusive representative for the world’s leading relocation company and our third office followed shortly afterwards.
In 2018 our Whitchurch office was voted 18th best in the UK by Rightmove and Property Academy, out of around 30,000 estate agency offices. We’ve recently opened our 5th sales office in Oakley (Basingstoke) and currently have offices covering a huge geographic area in Wiltshire and Hampshire. With lettings and mortgage departments and our high-profile Sales offices, we are the envy of our rivals. All of our offices are used exclusively by Cartus, the World's leading relocation company.
Whilst we have grown quickly, we are nevertheless a small company when it comes to service and personal attention. We do all we can to learn about our client's homes and needs, not considering our job done until every aspect of our client's move has been completed.
Testimonial 1
We recently purchased our family home through Brockenhurst. What a breath of fresh air it was to deal with Andy and Karen who could not be more different to the usual estate agent stereotypes and really care about their clients. We felt that both the offering and purchasing was dealt with honestly and transparently. They were responsive to queries and ultimately helped to make the transaction very straightforward. Would not hesitate to recommend them!
Testimonial 2
Andy McElligott was absolutely amazing in the help he gave us. He was the only agent we saw to be fully prepared with information, professional, engaging and made the experience so easy for us. if you want above and beyond service, I couldn't recommend Andy and Brockenhurst more.
Testimonial 3
We put our house on the market with Brockenhurst who were excellent. Joan had great local knowledge and rapidly arranged lots of viewings culminating in two offers. The whole team were friendly and efficient.

Council Tax pays for multiple services in the property's local authority with only part of it going to the council itself. Residences within a Parish or Town Council area have an additional charge to fund the body. Each parish/town council has a different budget and imposes different fees. Not all councils have parishes/town councils and this varies across the country.

In instances where parish/town councils do affect the council tax value and we do not have the exact figure, we present council tax data with the below highlights. Take care to confirm which is being presented by the dashboard as this will need to be made clear to your clients:

avg - When we indicate the Council Tax price is 'avg', it means we have not been able to obtain an exact figure, so this number represents the mean value of Council Tax across the council for that property band. The exact figure will be slightly higher or lower because each parish/town council is priced differently.

min - When we indicate the Council Tax is a 'min', it represents the known amount that the council sets for itself, but excludes the parish/town council cost which we have not been able to obtain. The additional cost will need to be considered as it will be greater than the indicated price.
