What is Market Intelligence (MI) and how do I use it?

Market Intelligence gives you data-driven insights into your local property market. Here's what it includes and how to make the most of it.

Market Intelligence (MI) is a feature within Sprift that provides you with data and insights about your local property market. It’s designed to help you understand market trends, identify opportunities, and have informed conversations with vendors and potential clients.

What Market Intelligence includes

MI brings together data from multiple sources to give you a picture of what’s happening in your area. Depending on your subscription, this may include:

  • Transaction data — recent sold prices and transaction volumes in your postcode areas
  • Market trends — how prices and activity are changing over time
  • Stock levels — properties currently on the market in your area
  • Property demographics — ownership types, property types, and other characteristics of homes in your area

For prospecting: Use MI to identify areas with high levels of activity or upcoming opportunities, and target your prospecting campaigns accordingly.

For internal planning: Track how your local market is performing over time to inform your team’s strategy and resource allocation.

Common questions

How often is MI data updated? Data is updated regularly as new information becomes available from our sources, including Land Registry and other property data providers. There may be a delay of several weeks for transaction data to appear, as Land Registry records are published after completion.

The MI data doesn’t seem right for my area. If the data looks unexpected, it may be that your postcode areas aren’t configured correctly, or that the data for your area is limited. Contact us with the specific data you’re querying and we’ll investigate.

Can I export MI data? Availability of MI data exports depends on your subscription. Contact us if you’d like to discuss export options.
