FAQ — prospecting print quality and delivery

Common questions about how Sprift prospecting mailings are printed, delivered, and what to do if something goes wrong.

This article covers the most frequently asked questions about the printing and delivery of Sprift prospecting mailings.

How long does delivery take?

Once a prospecting campaign is triggered, mailings are sent to our print fulfilment partner for production. After printing, they enter the Royal Mail postal system. Typical timelines are:

  • Print production: 1 to 3 working days after the campaign is processed
  • Royal Mail delivery: 2 to 5 working days after dispatch

Total time from campaign trigger to recipient delivery is usually 3 to 8 working days, depending on Royal Mail’s schedule and volume.

Can I see a proof before mailings are sent?

Yes. If you’d like to review a proof of your mailing before it goes to print, mention this when setting up your template with our team. We can provide a digital proof for your approval. See How do I create, edit, and upload Prospect Templates?.

What print quality should I expect?

Mailings are produced to a professional standard using commercial print equipment. You should expect:

  • Clear, sharp text and images
  • Accurate colour reproduction (as close to your brand colours as commercial printing allows)
  • Clean, undamaged materials

If the quality of a mailing falls below this standard, please report it. See My Prospect mailing — quality complaints and resend requests.

What if mailings aren’t arriving?

If recipients report not receiving your mailings:

  • Check the expected delivery timeline above — mailings may still be in transit
  • Confirm that the postcodes on the campaign are correct
  • If delivery is significantly overdue (more than 10 working days from campaign trigger), contact us and we’ll investigate

Delivery issues are sometimes caused by Royal Mail delays or incorrect address data in the source records.

Can I place a manual order?

In some circumstances, you may be able to place a manual prospecting order — for example, for a specific list of addresses outside your usual postcode areas. To discuss a manual order, email customer.success@sprift.com with:

  1. Your company name and branch
  2. What you’d like to send and to which addresses
  3. The template you’d like to use

Manual orders may require additional tokens depending on the volume.

What format are mailings printed in?

The format depends on your template — common formats include letters and postcards. If you’d like to explore a different format, speak to our team about what’s available.
