How do I manage my prospecting postcodes?
To add, remove, or change the postcodes you're prospecting in, just let us know and we'll update them for you.
Your prospecting postcodes determine which areas your Sprift mailings are sent to. If you’re expanding into new areas, closing down coverage, or simply want to adjust your patch, our team can update your postcodes for you.
Sprift uses two types of postcodes:
- Prospect postcodes — the areas where your prospecting mailings are sent
- Insider postcodes — the areas where you receive property market intelligence and insider alerts
Both can be updated through the same process.
What to include in your request
Email our Customer Success team at customer.success@sprift.com with:
- Your company name and branch
- Whether you’re adding, removing, or replacing postcodes
- The full postcode sectors or districts you’d like to change (e.g. “Add SW11 1, SW11 2” or “Remove all of CR0”)
- Whether the change applies to Prospect postcodes, Insider postcodes, or both
If you’re replacing your entire postcode list, it’s helpful to send the complete new list rather than a list of individual changes.
What happens next
Our team will update your postcodes, usually within one to two working days. You’ll receive confirmation once the changes are live.
Changes to your prospecting postcodes will take effect from your next scheduled mailing. Any mailings already in progress will use the previous postcode set.
Good to know
- Postcode changes may affect your token usage. If you’re significantly expanding your coverage, you may need additional tokens to cover the larger area. See How do I purchase Prospect Tokens? for details.
- If you’re unsure which postcodes cover your target area, our team can help you work out the right coverage.
