How do I create, edit, and upload Prospect Templates?

Prospect Templates control the design and content of your mailings. Here's how to get them set up or changed.

Prospect Templates are the designs used for your prospecting mailings — they control the layout, messaging, and branding of the letters or postcards sent to properties in your target areas. If you need a new template created, an existing one edited, or a template duplicated from another branch, our team can help.

Creating a new template

To have a new Prospect Template created, email our Customer Success team at customer.success@sprift.com with:

  1. Your company name and branch
  2. The type of mailing (e.g. letter, postcard)
  3. The purpose of the template (e.g. “just sold”, “price reduction”, “general canvassing”)
  4. The text or messaging you’d like included
  5. Any specific design preferences (colours, layout, images)
  6. Your branding assets if we don’t already have them — see How do I update my company branding and report appearance?

If you have a design file ready (PDF or image), you can attach that to your email and we’ll use it as the basis for the template.

Editing an existing template

If you need changes to a template that’s already set up, email us with:

  1. The name of the template you’d like changed
  2. A description of the changes required (e.g. updated text, new image, different layout)

Duplicating a template to another branch

If you have a template set up for one branch and want to use the same design for another branch, we can duplicate it. Email us with:

  1. The source branch and template name
  2. The destination branch
  3. Any changes needed for the new branch (e.g. different branch address or phone number)

What happens next

Our team will create or update your template, usually within two to three working days. For new templates, we may send you a proof to review before it goes live. For simple text changes, the update is usually applied directly.

Good to know

  • You can have multiple templates set up for different purposes (e.g. one for new listings, one for canvassing, one for price reductions). There’s no limit to the number of templates per branch.
  • Templates can be scheduled to send at specific intervals in your prospecting campaigns.
